This is the Friendship Token. This token shows a knot that symbolizes the inseparable bond between friends. The whimsical image of the two children playing with the balloon remind me of friendships in my childhood and their simplicity. I hope that looking at this token brings back memories of your childhood friendship that seemed endless. Before passing this token, think about all the people that have made a significant difference in your life and think of others who may be grateful for a little more friendship. 

This is the Navigation token. How does one explore the outside world? How do you make the best decisions for yourself and others? When you receive this token, consider these thoughts. In making this token I see how direction can change through the choices we make and how we apply ourselves to what we do.

This is the Wisdom Token. The man with his "deep in thought" expression and tree extending from his head show this idea of wisdom. The tree also symbolizes the foundation for new ideas. Wisdom can come from both old and young people alike. I hope those who receive my token think about how wisdom has touched their lives and how they might pull from their experiences in helping others.

This is the Patience Token. This token shows water waves and a turtle representing a positive mindset. The linear pattern in the waves around the turtle show the chaos that goes on in the world everyday. The yellow is meant to pop out again the blue waves but also holds a more realistic feel because of the texture of the glaze. As this token travels the globe on an incredible journey, I see the turtle traveling patiently waiting to reach each destination and considering all that is around him.

This is the Grounded Token. This token represents keeping me grounded. The anchor symbolizes stability as it keeps the ship in place and prevents it from drifting off. The ideas of being level-headed and humble show me what it means to be grounded. Being grounded can also help people from developing big egos. Before passing this token, I encourage you to think about the people in your past who have kept you grounded and have helped you see the world more clearly. 

This is the Lucky Token. This token shows the Lucky Cat which in Asian culture is believed to bring good luck to the owner. It is usually displayed in shops, restaurants and homes. Luck is important to my Asian culture and beliefs as it is said to bring prosperity and good fortune to those who possess it. As my token is passed from person to person, I hope that it will bring luck to whoever receives it.

​This is the Meditation Token. The pattern on my token shows a dash and dot rim and a seated figured in the middle. The figure is made using circles in a triangle shape and has a heart at its core. While my original idea was to show a seated figure meditating, I enjoy how this figure also suggests the idea of spirit and compassion that connect with meditation. My goal with this token is to inspire a positive view of meditation and relaxation as it travels from person to person.

This is the Intuition Token. It shows a wolf howling up at the phases of the moon. I wanted to show how beautiful wolves are. I have researched how wolves are guided by their intuition and their devotion to the pack. I think being devoted to family is very important to me. The howling also show communication while the phases of the moon are also symbolic of intuition and nature's energy.

This is the Joy Token. This token represents the joy that comes from close friendship. I feel that having a close friend is not only important for myself but for many others. This friendship brings trust, kindness, care and support which make a huge difference in life. My image shows a sunflower representing joy and sunshine. The seeds are made by words that express the joy that friendship brings.
