Students in the Ferguson Missouri schools are painting
PBIS symbols-Honesty, Resilience, Cooperation, Hope, in
their schools with their art and classroom teachers led by
Margaret Peeno, Supervisor of Art Education at the University
of Missouri, St. Louis.
A series of 25 Adinkra symbols from West African (Ghana) symbols provided by guest artists and resource materials from
the St. Louis Art Museum were used for instruction and staff
development for teachers, parents, and students.
